Delete your account
Last updated: October 10, 2026
You can delete your MusicPulse account at any time, from the mobile app or from the website. Deletion is permanent: it cannot be undone and any remaining credits are lost. This page explains how to proceed and what happens to your data.
1. In the mobile app
Open the MusicPulse app, go to the Account tab, then Settings, and tap Delete my account. Confirm when asked. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
2. On the website
Sign in at www.musicpulse.app, open Settings from the dashboard menu and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page. Confirm when asked. Your account is deleted immediately.
3. If you can no longer sign in
Send a deletion request through the contact form at www.musicpulse.app/contact, using the email address of your account. We may ask you to confirm that you hold the account. The account is then deleted within one (1) month at most.
4. Subscriptions bought through Google Play or the App Store
Deleting your account cancels any subscription paid on the website (card payment through Stripe). A subscription bought in the app through Google Play or the App Store is managed by the store, not by MusicPulse: cancel it in the Subscriptions section of Google Play, or in your Apple ID settings, otherwise the store may keep charging you. Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel a subscription either.
5. What is deleted
Your account and profile (email address, name, preferences), your credit balance, your tracks and audio files, analysis reports and comparisons, generated content (cover art, AI music, videos, clips, masters), vault files, artist page, smart links and the fan contacts collected through them, release plans and passports, pitches, the producer reviews you requested or wrote, notifications, alerts and the reports you filed.
Files stored on our servers are erased when you delete your account. Account data and content are deleted no later than thirty (30) days afterwards, technical backups included.
6. What is kept, and for how long
A fingerprint of your email address (a SHA-256 hash, not the address itself) is kept so that the free sign-up credits cannot be claimed again with the same address. It is used for no other purpose.
Billing documents (invoices and payment records) are kept for ten (10) years, as required by accounting law. MusicPulse never holds your card details: they stay with Stripe.
Technical and security logs are kept for up to twelve (12) months.
